on Monday and Thursday evenings.

THERE  ARE SEVEN PARTS AS LISTED BELOW:

CHARLES CONDOMINE:   The Husband – a sophisticated charming man.   He is an author and is rather
cynical, and considers himself to be brittle and witty and a bit of a lady’s man.

RUTH CONDOMINE: The Second Wife – Ruth is Charles’ second wife.  His first  wife died seven years earlier.
She considers herself a very modern woman, with no false sentiments and puts on a brave face of being totally
unemotional and practical.

DR BRADMAN:   Dr Bradmin is a friend as well as the family doctor.  A bluff no nonsense man, impatient, but
kindly.  Deferential to his wife.

MRS BRADMAN: The Doctor’s wife, who takes her place as a Doctor’s Wife very seriously and manages her
husband’s life in order to give him as little worry as possible, she is slightly silly with no imagination.

EDITH:  Edith is the household’s new Maid.  She is untrained and does everything at the gallop.  She projects
a slightly dim and adenoidal character, devoid of any imagination whatsoever, stoical and servile.

MADAME ARCATI:  Madame Arcati is the local medium, she is totally genuine in her beliefs, slightly scatty,
full of gestures and feelings of the departed.

ELVIRA:  The ghost of Charles’s first wife.  She is a modern, cynical woman, slightly spiteful and full of
mischief.  She relies on getting her own way my using her feminine charms.
