Demonstrating that there is in fact life after work or school and for that matter after retirement, amateur theatre provides an outlet for many to experience the fun and adrenalin of live performance.
Providing solid entertainment to club members, family, friends and the public at large, Westville Theatre stages various productions in many forms, from 1 act plays, to the annual glitzy supper club musical comprising a cast of up to 50 people, live music from our highly talented band members, plus another dozen or so making things happen backstage.
Devoting many hours over many months, the dedication of those who perform in their spare time is quite amazing. With ages ranging from 16 to 60 plus, amateur theatre, like golf, is a great leveler. It matters not where you live, what you earn or what you do.
It is the immense fun of sharing and striving for the production of an outstanding performance combined with an impressive array of “not so amateur” talent that enables us to say Westville Theatre Club is where the FUN begins!
